Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the host records standard server-log details, including an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to operate the site and understand page traffic. Cookies and similar tools may support ordinary analytics or, where used, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
Information helps us run the service, resolve technical issues, measure traffic, and improve the pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Websites
Wildwood Residents Directory links to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The privacy rules of those services govern information submitted to them, including information entered through sponsored search results provided by another company.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We share information when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as described here.
Data Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal site profiles for us to maintain.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information to us, and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by a website. Research for this site did not identify a Missouri comprehensive consumer-privacy statute. Missouri public records held by state, county, or city offices follow the Missouri Sunshine Law, §610.023 request process and the §610.026 rules for copy, research, programming, and payment charges; those government records remain outside our control. Because we retain very little, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing information we locate. Use the Contact page to make that request, and direct a public-record correction or removal question to its custodian.
Policy Changes
We will post updates to this policy here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
